History

The company Menerga d.o.o. was established in 1990 in Maribor as a branch of Menerga GmbH, established in 1980.

Menerga d.o.o. was entrusted the first larger and more complex project Terme 3000 in Moravske Toplice, which included a hotel, an indoor public swimming pool and a wellness complex.

We have independently incorporated the first larger building management system in the Convention Hotel & Resort Hotel Habakuk project in Maribor.

Menerga starts developing its own and completely autonomous energy solutions, energy services and provides energy consulting for green buildings.

We start using 3D modelling and 3D construction tools for our projects. We start using our own Menerga h,x diagram (Psychometric chart) programme and the Klima 3000 programme.

We receive our first energy-efficiency prize, awarded by the Slovenian Ministry of the Economy.

We deliver our first project with a thermal activation of the concrete core.

At Menerga Slovenia, we develop our own programming equipment Klimen, which helps us increase the buildings’ energy efficiency.

Menerga receives a TÜV certificate.

Menerga Maribor creates its own highly energy efficient green building that serves as a demo building and proves, how energy consumption can be reduced in one building.

The European Commission's Green Building Award 2008 for the greenest building of the year goes to our demo project “Office building Menerga Maribor”.

Menerga organises the first Green Building conference.

We receive the ISO 9001 certificate for quality management and the ISO 14001 certificate for environmental management.

We receive an award for our first conceptual project Shopping Centre Phoenix Plaza Zagreb (HR), the first Croatian project, awarded with the European Commission’s Green Building Award.

Menerga Slovenia creates the Andivi subsidiary. Andivi

We receive the second European Commission’s Green Building Award 2011 for the multi-purpose facility A/B (Mercator) in Pesnica.

Slovenian Minister for Economy, mag. Darja Radić, pays a visit to Menerga.

Menerga is chosen as one of the 100 top technological companies in the publication “100 Best German Technologies”.
